Adobe Edge Animate CC is a relatively new platform from Adobe that is proving to be a powerful tool in website and web application development, while providing developers a tool similar to flash. Having already used edge animate for a few projects (creating html animations), I’m happy to say Adobe has created a great tool with the power of flash and actionscript that is ready to take on the html5 and javascript world. Here are just a few of the features I have enjoyed: html5 video and audio support, responsive web support through media queries, full jquery core, custom jquery development within the script editor (as if it were the actionscript window!). I’m sure my curiosity will help me jump into the powerful api technology available, and the potential for json data via a live database.
